Wood Wick Candle Care
Burning instructions for wood wick candles:
For the first burn, it is important to burn the candle until the wax fully melts across the width of the candle, approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours. This will help extend the life of your candle & prevent tunneling (burning only down the center of the candle). Always trim/break off the wick to 1/4" or less before lighting to ensure a longer-lasting candle and a safer burn. Always burn on a heat-safe surface away from drafts.
Sometimes a wood wick candle will extinguish itself if the wick is too long or untrimmed. Wait until it is cool, then break off the wick and re-light.
